The Cove

A seven-story mixed-use multifamily community in Worcester’s Historic Canal District, The Cove is comprised of 173 units and 19,000 square feet of street-level retail space, including American Flatbread’s pizza and bowling, intended for resident and public entertainment uses. The development includes an amenity-rich live-work-play program featuring a game room, a communal and co-working lounge, and a comprehensive fitness center.

The building responds to the district’s industrial heritage through a modern interpretation of warehouse-style design, featuring a façade of dark brick, large factory-style windows, blackened steel detailing, and warm wood accents that create texture along the streetscape. Upper-level setbacks create visual interest and dynamic sightlines from apartments and two rooftop decks overlooking the adjacent 10,000-seat Polar Park.

The Cove sits on a culturally significant site once home to Sir Morgan’s Cove music hall, where The Rolling Stones performed a surprise show in 1981. The interior is like stepping into the Stones’ recording studio – channeling the bohemian rock ‘n’ roll vibe with elements like Persian rugs, distressed leather, mixed metals, crushed velvet, and dark jewel tones that create a moody, layered palette.

Living at The Cove places residents in the heart of Worcester’s dramatic resurgence, where bold, immersive design and thoughtful urban integration reflect both the city’s cultural roots and its forward-looking vision.
